A German student arrives at Cambridge University and has a number of adventures.
An Eastern Counties Bristol K is glimpsed following a carnival parade: A rather nice Burlingham Seagull bodied coach: There is some horseplay aboard and not aboard this Eastern Counties Bristol K; I believe it's LK375 (KNG375), a 1949 Eastern Coachworks bodied K6B: More clearly seen in daylight is Eastern Counties LK39 (FNG146), a Bristol K5G with Eastern Coachworks highbridge body, in King’s Parade in Cambridge. Nigel Utting corrected my original identification, noting that FNG146 "was new as a Bristol K6A with utility lowbridge Strachans body but after going through the 1953 Tilling Group programme to refurbish utility K-types it emerged as a K5G with highbridge eight-feet wide ECW bodywork along with a low-mounted PV2 radiator."
