David Beilby remembers this as a personal favourite: "Filmed around 1957 in Manchester there are quite a few city centre scenes with buses visible and a few night shots of Stanley Baker boarding a Burlingham-bodied Leyland Titan PD2. There's even some very distant Oldham buses." Bob Wingrove has provided these screen captures: some of the sightings really are distant but serve as a reminder of the distinctive liveries and even shapes of yesteryear.
