It Came From Beneath the Sea (1957, Kenneth Tobey, Faith Domergue)
"I remember on TV when I was a little tyke, 'It Came From Beneath The Sea', featuring a half-mile(?) long octopus that took over San Francisco , until it got 'shot'. Of course the more exciting part was earlier in the film when I noticed the back/right side view of a postwar 1949 Fageol trolley Twin Coach bus smiling at me!!! Now that made my day!.... Even though the octopus got shot!" (sometimes I love building this website - thanks for the memory Jerry Fretto)

Incidentally, the octopus only had six legs - two were removed due to budgetary constraints......
