The Producers (1968, Zero Mostel, Gene Wilder and 2005, Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick)
Bill Vandervoort notes: "I mentioned that the recent movie 'The Producers', with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick, showed a Fifth Avenue Coach Co. GM Old Look. They made the 1950s the time period for that story.
The original movie 'The Producers' from 1968, with Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder, had a NYCTA GM New Look. That movie was supposed to take place in 'contemporary' times. In both versions, the bus was seen when the main character was raising money from his 'little old ladies'."
Internet Movie Cars Database regular Snookie identified the New Look as a 1965 Manhattan and Bronx Surface Transit Operating Authority TDH 5303.
