Yesterday's Hero (1979, Ian McShane)
Interesting for the use of Continental Pioneer's ALR454B as a football team coach. Originally a stablemate at Battens of ALR454B, the Bedford VAL famous for its starring role in The Italian Job, it's a 1964 Leyland Leopard L2T with Harrington Cavalier body, sadly only seen at night:
The film also includes footage of the coach park at the old Wembley Stadium. Notable are representatives from Wallace Arnold and Barton, but there's a mix of Plaxton and Duple bodies of different ages:
An exception is this Caetano bodied coach top right:
Created with Boltwire.
