Played by Jeff Rawle, our hero sees a girlfriend onto a double decker bus, then scampers across the road to greet another girlfriend arriving on a coach. The double decker is an old friend to fans of 'On The Buses', Eastern National 2917 (AEV811F), a Bristol Lodekka FLF6LX/Eastern Coachworks. The show is set in the fictional Northern town of Stradhoughton, and 2917 carries the original flying N National Bus company logo with a fleetname for 'Stradhoughton Traction Company':

Has a scene set in a bus station waiting room, but the buses in view look like a photograph and it's not clear what they are:
