(Channel 4 drama serial, 1991)
Rightly highly regarded Alan Bleasedale drama with Robert Lindsay and Michael Palin. Episode 1:
Alan Sinclair reports the appearance of a bus depot - it's a Greater Manchester depot, with a number of Leyland Olympians, Daimler Fleetlines and MCW Metrobuses visible:
Also seen is Frank Twist GIL2160, a Leyland Leopard/Plaxton Supreme VI coach. Twist was a fictional operator. GIL2160 was ex Maynes of Manchester 60, previously registered MRJ360W. (thanks Dave Farrier)
Episode 3:
Another coach, this time WNV822W, a Jonckheere-bodied Volvo B10m new to Wright of Woodfalls, but seen here with fleetname Rigbys:
"A bus depot appeared briefly in one scene, in which several Routemasters were visible - possibly Greater Manchester Buses examples." (thanks Alan Sinclair)
