MacGyver (Paramount action series, 1985-92)
Adventures of a secret agent who uses ingenious scientific solutions to get out of impossible situations and inadvertently brought a new word into the English language.

Episode 5.01: Legend of the Holy Rose Part 1:

MacGyver goes to London to help an archaeologist friend. There are some establishing shots of London streets, featuring a standard and a stretched AEC Routemaster, also a Caetano bodied coach:
Except for establishing stock shots, the action was filmed in Vancouver, and a 'London Transport' bus is seen passing this building on Nelson Street, the First Baptist Church. The bus is a Bristol Lodekka FS6B with Eastern Coachworks body, new in 1963 as West Yorkshire Road Car DX161. It was or had been in use with Gray Line; in the third image the distinctive Gray Line diamond logo can be seen scrubbed off towards the rear of the bus.
Thank you to Rob Sly for the ID - the bus was photographed in 2017 in Pincher Creek, Alberta, heading west, still with white wheels, but converted to a mobile home. It would be fascinating to know where it fetched up. A history of the bus can be found on Rob's comprehensive Bristol Commercial Vehicles Enthusiasts website.
