Mersey Beat (BBC drama series, 2001-4)
The BBC's answer to ITV's 'The Bill'. Despite the efforts of a good cast it never established itself. Arguably it jumped the shark with Episode 4, in which a woman starts shooting on board an MTL Leyland Atlantean (thanks Ewood Eddie for the spot).
Prior to this we see two Halton Transport Marshall bodied Dennis Darts, the nearer of which is 18 (N673CLV) (screencaps are poor quality):
The Atlantean is 1040 (A140HLV) an ex Merseyside AN68D/Alexander:
Andy Heywood notes an MTL Atlantean in MTL livery but with fictitious fleetnames being used for filming of season two in Widnes.
A January 2004 episode also has an Arriva Merseyside Olympian/Northern Counties passing the window of the police station.
