Motorway

Fly-on-the-wall documentary series showing the work of Highways England controllers and officers, as well as showing what goes into the dreaded roadworks on Britain's first, and possibly busiest motorway.

Near the end of Episode 3, officers from Highways England are called out to deal with stranded Leeds Festival attendees on the side of the motorway, with their transport to the festival Hunters Coaches 392 - Y429 NHK, ex Stagecoach London Dennis Trident Alexander ALX400 TA429/17429 - having failed with a "bad water leak" - the errant driver of 392 begins to become a problem himself as be drifts out towards the M1! The broken Trident is then replaced by an unidentified ex-National Express West Midlands Volvo B7TL Plaxton President, ferrying the stranded passengers back on their way to the Leeds Festival on the X28.

Episode 4 sees a brief glimpse on the J24-J23 cameras of two Skills Coaches double deckers and a maintenance van on the hard shoulder, one of the buses being an ex-Lothian Transbus Trident Plaxton President, the other behind that likely a yellow-liveried ex-Nottingham City Transport Volvo Olympian with an East Lancs Pyoneer body.
