A 1987 special report on the Liverpool music scene opens with presenter Muriel Gray sitting at the side of a busy road, and we see a passing Crosville Leyland Olympian/Eastern Coachworks:
She takes a ride on Merseybus 1612 (GKA37N), a Leyland Atlantean/Alexander open topper new to Merseyside PTE, along with a young Liverpool band, Brenda and the Beachballs, who play on the upper deck, completely ignoring the safety signs:


There's also archive footage of Liverpool, including an extract from a video for the Beatles' 'Penny Lane', and another unidentified clip. The 'Penny Lane' footage appears to be a different cut of that used for the official Beatles video, and features Liverpool Corporation L159 (RKC260), a 1955 Leyland Titan PD2/20/Alexander:
