Turn Back Time: The High Street (BBC documentary series, 2010)
Clumsy title for a fascinating BBC series about the passing of time in the English High Street. A group of shopkeepers set up shop in the style of a particular era in Shepton Mallet in Somerset.
Episode 3:
A show looking at the 1930s sees our heroes travelling to the seaside on their day off. Their transport is superb GNU750, a 1939 Daimler COG5/40 with Willowbrook body. It's one of two surviving COG5/40s and preserved in the livery of Blue Bus, although owned here by Quantock Motor Services:
Created with Boltwire.
