In one sequence the crews scramble to get into the air

Many of the RAF's fleet of Bristol Britannias are seen at rest:

When the action switches to Aden we see this De Havilland Comet, with a Blackburn Beverley in the background.

The Beverleys were at the time by far the biggest aircraft operated by the Royal Air Force, and closely associated with
RAF Abingdon.

This closeup of XM106 of 84 Squadron shows the rear cargo doors, then the same aircraft taxis for takeoff,
with two more Beverleys in the background:

In Nairobi, the camera just misses this green singledecker:

This Guy Arab (?) singledecker is caught in traffic.....

...but this Albion has a clearer road:

Actor James Robertson Justice waits to start Torquay's annual Waiters' Race while a Guy Arab passes behind:

A Grey Cars halfcab coach moves along the promenade

A lowbridge Western National Bristol K/Eastern Coachworks waits at Dartmouth Railway Station, while another approaches:

More Atlanteans appear, this time in Torquay operating for Devon General -
this makes an interesting comparison with the earlier 'The English Riviera' (qv):

Not all Torquay's buses were Atlanteans, however, this is an AEC Regent V:

....and an extraordinary sight - among the Atlanteans is Guy Arab V/Strachan demonstrator 888DUK!

Finally, one of Devon General's Sea Dog class open top Atlanteans:

A forerunner of the modern Dotto Landtrains plys its trade on Weston's pier?

A Bristol Omnibus Bristol L/Eastern Coachworks moves away from the camera

A view of Cheddar Gorge looks down on the coaches parked 500 feet below.

This appears to be a Bedford SB, operator unknown:

Then there are the trams!

Blackpool Corporation buses: these streamlined Leyland Titan PD2/5s unique to Blackpool had centre entrance Burlingham bodies.
In the second scene the bus is waiting for a troupe of circus elehants to cross the road.

Later Titans also had full-fronted bodies - this is 341 (PFR341), followed by a distinctive red/cream coach.

Can anyone identify this 'Lost Children Centre'?

Delta 8-3 (July 1960)
This fascinating documentary about the Vulcan bombers based at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire and their crews also features the Bedford buses used as transport to the aircraft.

Lifeline (December 1959)
The story of a Royal Naval ship, the RFA Tidereach on a journey from Britain to the USA, this has brief footage of a New York transit bus as the newly arrived sailors stand on the street. It's probably Fifth Avenue Coach Company GM 'Old Look' TDH 4507 new in 1946 - thank you to Alan Aaron, who identifies the location as the west side of Fifth Avenue and at the edge of Central Park.
Transport Command (November 1961)
This film has extensive footage of RAF Lyneham in the days before it became known as the home of the RAF's Hercules transport aircraft. This Bedford is seen briefly entering the base:

The English Riviera (April 1958)
A view of central Torquay with several AEC Regent IIIs of Devon General:

In Glorious Devon (December 1958)
Features an excursion by Grey Cars XTA846

The Plymouth Sound (February 1971)
Has some distant shots of Plymouth's extensive fleet of Leyland Atlanteans:

The Quay To The Tor (November 1964)
This tour through Devon has several scenes of interest. Early in the show we see a Plymouth Leyland Atlantean:

Down Somerset Way (November 1957)
This Bristol Omnibus Bristol K with lowbridge Eastern Coachworks body is seen on a roundabout in Weston super Mare

Playground Spectacular (September 1960)
Much of interest in this look at the attractions of Blackpool. Two Ribble double deckers, likely Leyland Titans, pass the camera, while a convoy of coaches approaches:

Reels Within Reels (October 1964)
No bus views here, but this look at the recording industry includes footage of an E-type Jaguar with a record player fitted:

The Royal County (December 1958)
Two fleeting glimpses of Eastern Counties double deckers in Norwich, but this look at Norfolk is more interesting for its stately homes and rural views:
