Buses on Screen - Films Em-Ez

Emergency Call (1952, Jack Warner)
Glimpses in London of a 1T1 T-class AEC Regal, a Green Line 10T10 T-class AEC Regal, trolleybuses, a 2RT2 prewar AEC RT and an RLH-class lowbridge AEC Regent III. (+Colin Read)
Emmanuelle 2 (1975, Sylvia Kristel)
The first ten minutes feature a brief view of an AEC Regent V in Hong Kong!
Enchanted (2007, Amy Adams, James Marsden, Julie Andrews, Patrick Dempsey, Timothy Spall, Susan Sarandon)
Daniel Dey reports "Jason Marsden rides on top of one of New York City's GMC RTS 04's through Times Square thinking it's a dragon which has swallowed some peasants."

The End of the Affair (1954, John Mills, Deborah Kerr)
Partial side view of a London Transport STL in the background. Towards the end of the movie RTW463 (LLU953) is seen from behind in the rain with blinds for service 74. (+Colin Read)
The End of the Affair (1999, Ralph Fiennes, Julianne Moore, Stephen Rea)
Set in London in the 1940s. A roofbox RT ghosts through the background of several scenes, too far away to identify; on one occasion it's too close to identify:

A sequence on the seafront at Brighton has two Duple-bodied Bedford OBs; James Annetts, who was driving 1949-built Mervyns Coaches HOD75, confirms the second is blue and cream GWV101, built in 1951. As can be divined from these screen captures, neither is particularly clearly seen.

End of Days (Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gabriel Byrne)
Three New York RTS transit buses are seen in street scenes in the first twenty minutes.
The Enforcer (1976, Clint Eastwood, Tyne Daly)
Towards the end of the film Eastwood and Daly meet in a bar as a GM Old Look passes outside.
Enigma (2001, Dougray Scott, Kate Winslet)
World War 2 drama about codebreaking at Bletchley Park: at least two roofbox London Transport AEC Regent III RTs appear in the opening and closing scenes in Trafalgar Square.
Premier of Watford's 1948(!) red/cream Leyland Tiger PS1/Burlingham ENT778 and a dark blue Bedford OB (likely another anachronism) appear as staff transport outside Bletchley Park. The Tiger is later seen outside the railway station. Phil Groocock reports the OB as Leathers Coaches GWV101. James Annetts at Mervyns Coaches kindly confirms that GWV101 was indeed the Bedford OB seen at Bletchley Park. He also notes similar Bedford OB HOD75 "was also used during the filming of the shots where the staff changed over, but the director decided that the shot looked too busy with three vehicles, and so had me reverse out of shot onto the cutting room floor."

The Entertainer (1960, Laurence Olivier, Joan Plowright et al))
Perhaps an unexpected entry; filmed partly in Morecambe - odd Morecambe AEC Regent IIIs can be seen in the distance - and partly in Blackpool - there is one good view of illuminated trams:

Esperando la Carroza (1985)
"Argentine comedy featuring Antonio Gasalla as a granny, trying to take a LO 1114 bus with an impatient driver" (thanks Carlos Wallberg)
Eurotrip (2004, Scott Mechlowicz, Jacob Pitts, Michelle Trachtenberg)
To paraphrase Guardian TV critic Nancy Banks-Smith, you would be looking at (and listening to, come to that) Vinny Jones for a long time before you thought of a Manchester United football supporter, but then this American view of Europe mostly misfires anyway. Jones is to be found aboard an ex London Transport AEC Routemaster travelling from London to Paris (Manchester United? That would be manchester in the North West of England.....). The RM, sadly, has no identifiable registration plate:

Evergreen (1934, Jessie Matthews)
Early in the film, brief shots of London LT-class AEC Renowns. (+Colin Read)
Executive Decision (1996, Kurt Russell, Halle Berry)
An early scene features a London Transport AEC Routemaster. (thanks Carlos Wallberg)
The Experts (1989, John Travolta)
A Greyhound MC-9 is seen arriving in a town ostensibly in Nebraska; however this is a Greyhound Canada bus and the movie was shot in Ontario and British Columbia!
Eye Witness (1956, Nigel Stock, Donald Sinden)
Within the first twenty minutes of the movie, a London trolleybus is glimpsed on route 667. Muriel Pavlow is knocked down by London Transport RT4566 (NXP858) on fictional route 534 to 'Barlow Station'. A second unidentified RT passes the accident with similar destination. (+Colin Read)
