Music Videos M

Grey Day
"Part of this is shot on an open top bus, although very little of the bus can be seen. A passing RM is seen briefly in one shot." (thanks Ken Lansdowne):
Shut Up
"An unidentified red and blue coach is seen briefly at the very end of the video (blink and you miss it!)" (thanks Ken Lansdowne). Bodywork is by Plaxton:
Cardiac Arrest
The band is seen aboard and in front of preserved London Transport RTW75 (KGK575). Also seen are an LT AEC Routemaster, possibly RM1540 (540CLT), and a passing DMS-class Daimler Fleetline (thanks Ken Lansdowne):

Madonna - Ray of Light
Glimpse of the upper deck of a New York Apple Tours opentop DMS-type Daimler Fleetline:

Mad Donna - The Wheels on the Bus
This spoof on Madonna's 'Ray of Light' track features a cartoon 'Madonna' and a cartoon yellow school bus, also a cartoon Partridge Family bus!

Kellie Marie - Feels Like I'm In Love

Filmed in London and notable for two passing London Transport AEC Routemasters and a Plaxton Supreme bodied coach of Frames Tours. The second RM is RM1247 (247CLT) on route 12:

Bob Marley - Waiting in Vain Glimpses of Grayline GM 'Buffalo Buses':

Mary Mary - Shackles (Praise You)
A GM fishbowl in New York colours forms the backdrop to the song; the singers are standing on the roof in several shots.

Paul McCartney - Wonderful Christmastime
Video for this festive ditty by the world's greatest composer of Frog Choruses includes Ford Transit minibus HUF990N in the livery of Ron’s, Ashington and a lot of Father Christmases (thanks Steve Foster):

Milli Vanilli - Girl You Know It's True

A Geoff Cook spot, this one - several London M-class MCW Metrobuses appear, including interior shots aboard one, plus a couple of RML

class Routemasters:
Is the bus garage Fulwell? Certainly Fulwell operated route 281 with Ms.

Morjac Featuring Raz Conway - Stars
Concludes with a young man boarding a green/cream Dennis Dart.

Motorhead - God Save The Queen
The punk classic with a new twist, partly shot on a red opentopper touring London - it's an AEC Routemaster, registration KVS601 (?), apparently driven by Her Majesty herself. Several Big Bus Company opentoppers are also glimpsed:
Robert Sharpe (who spotted this) however observes: "KVS601 appears to be RM671, but as the old girl still has her roof on, I suspect that two different RMs were used in the video"
Mull Historical Society - Watching Xanadu
A man dressed as a rabbit failes to catch Metroline Dennis Trident/Plaxton TP7 (T107KLD) on service 4 - there are views from behind and on board.

Mungo Jerry - In the Summer Time
The band performs in the open air in London, while London Transport AEC Routemasters and Swifts pass in the background; in particular an RM on service 49 is seen.

Musical Youth - Pass the Dutchie London-shot video for the 1982 novelty single features a passing Round London Sightseeing Tour open topper. It's one of two MCW-bodied former London Country Leyland Atlanteans, either AN106 (MPJ106L) or AN110 (MPJ110L):
